Key Tasks and Responsibilities
•Accountable for ensuring that Human Resources initiatives are planned, communicated, and properly implemented to ensure improved business performance. •Oversee the development, succession planning, recruitment, training, and compensation within the Distribution Center.
•Assess, develop and implement effective methods of communication to all associates pertaining to policies, procedures, and company benefits and ensure their consistent application. •Partner with operations team in developing programs to increase and maintain associate productivity and morale.
•Prepare and manage the HR operating budget and programs in a fiscally responsible manner
Qualifications Education and Experience
•Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management, Communications or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
•Minimum of 5+ years Human Resources experience.
•Previous distribution center or manufacturing experience a plus.
•Train the Trainer Certification a plus. •Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
•SPHR or PHR certification a plus.
•Management/supervisory experience required.
•Specific technical training (i.e., CPA, Engineer, etc.)
•Solid communication skills, computer skills (Microsoft applications), interpersonal skills, analytical and math skills, problem-solving skills, and organizational skills.
•Managerial/Supervisory experience required
