The primary objective of this position is to create the unit level demand plan. Key responsibilities include:
•Managing the monthly sales planning process for a defined region.
•Working with sales operations to create the regional unit plan and insure alignment with the revenue outlook, large customer deals, and distributor replenishment requirements.
•Managing the demand outlook to drive the targeted seasonality and on time delivery objectives, and resolve immediate demand issues to insure the demand plan supports the revenue objectives for any given period of time.
•Resolve gaps between sales opportunities and sales quotes to insure demand visibility is provided to the global Demand/Supply managers.
•Responsible for managing the distributor collaboration process and building inventory models necessary to support the sales in, sales out, and inventory objectives for each distributor.
•Provides unit visibility for new product introduction, product transitions and end of sales to minimize finished goods and component inventory reserves.
•Driving improvement in regional forecast accuracy and on time delivery metrics by identifying root causes and corrective actions.
•Monitor distributor material availability and shortage positions and partner with Order Control Desk to resolve issues. Provide guidance and direction on distributor allocation.
Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management.
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience preferred in the following software systems: SalesForce.com, Zyme, Kinaxis, and SAP
