    Job Opportunity: Sr. Demand Planner - Catalysts, Adsorbents & Specialties (CAS) - Honeywell (Des Plaines, IL)

      Position Responsibilities

      • Define, manage, and continually improve the project demand management process globally across the CA+S businesses.
      • Coordinate with plant and global supply planners to support OTTR, inventory goals and other relevant KPI's.
      • Maintain consensus forecasts with business for 22 month periods to support the Sales/Inventory/Operations Planning process (SIOP)
      • Lead Regional Demand Planning meetings in the creation of a consensus based unconstrained plan and document demand drivers and assignable causes to demand changes each period.
      • Maintain forecast accuracy KPI's.
      • Ensure all participants contribute to the SIOP process within the agreed upon timing of the calendar of events.
      • Work closely with the business, sales, supply chain, operations and distribution personnel to improve overall supply chain from improved demand signals.
      • Lead tracking of critical shipments.
      • Provide accurate demand to support STRAP, AOP, Financial, SIOP and Master Scheduling business processes.
      • Ensure regular review of the Product portfolio including life cycle management, NPI, product segmentation and SKU rationalization.

       

      Qualifications

       

      Basic Candidate Qualifications:

      • Minimum 3-5 years experience in demand planning and or supply planning within an integrated ERP system.
      • Bachelors in Supply Chain or related field is required.

       

      Additional Candidate Qualifications:

      • Demonstrated advanced analytical skills in data warehouse systems (BI/BO) and Excel.
      • Experience in International business plus.
      • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build teamwork to accomplish business objectives.
      • Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and opportunities and to implement effective improvements and control plans.
