      Kinaxis is looking for a talented candidate to work within the Analytics Development team. The team is responsible for developing various algorithms to solve supply chain management problems. The uniqueness of the team is that it performs at the intersection of technology and real business problems.

      As a developer on the Analytics team you will report to the Manager, Analytics Development and you will work closely with development and test teams to continually increase the power of the RapidResponse analytics.


      Key Responsibilities

      • Design and develop algorithms
      • Evaluate trade-offs between solution quality, complexity, memory and execution time.
      • Speak to customers and consultants: to collect business requirements for new feature and explain analytics in terms they will understand
      • Performance tuning: analyze bottlenecks of existing algorithms and suggest/implement improvements



      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
      • Strong background in C++.
      • Performance oriented mindset accustomed to tuning algorithms
      • Self-starter with strong initiative and focus on results,  able to dig deep while troubleshooting
      • Strong teamwork and ability to establish and sustain effective cross-functional relationships
      • Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities
      • Experience in analytics or iterative algorithms is a definite asset
      • Experience in optimization algorithms or statistical packages is a definite asset
      • Understanding of manufacturing analytics in support of demand management, supply management, and sales and operations planning is a definite asset.
