      The Supply Chain Management / Procurement Sr Consultant is directly responsible for successful development and delivery of Supply Chain / Procurement Process Transformation projects. This individual will assist Associate Partners and Partners in account development and the sales delivery cycle and will lead Practice development activities, including business cases and publication of white papers. Supply Chain / Procurement Transformation engagement development and delivery will require working knowledge and applicable experience deploying similar solutions for complex clients including, but not limited to, strategic sourcing, analytic design and operation, organizational design, source to pay, contract management, policies and governance, performance measurement, supplier relationship management, supply chain benchmarking and strategy assessment, change management and technology initiatives for clients. Technology initiatives are focused on best in market applications which include SAP/Ariba, Oracle, Emptoris, and Coupa.

      This individual must translate business challenges into solutions. They provide hands-on leadership, direction and mentoring to the team as well as manage client relationships. The consultant will be considered a Procurement Subject Matter Expert. They should be capable of developing and fostering key client relationships across all enterprise levels, working as a Strategy & Transformation Consulting in the domain of Supply Chain Management, have secondary knowledge of Finance Transformation and/or Engineering Services, have industry experience as a Procurement Practitioner, and/or have experience working with Senior Procurement and Finance Leaders.

      It is also expected that new hires live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 mi or less) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; Minneapolis, MN; New York City, NY and surrounding areas; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; Tulsa, OK; and Washington, DC.

      • Bachelor's Degree
      • At least 2 years experience in hands-on Strategic Sourcing process design, implementation, planning, and negotiation in several direct and/or indirect categories.
      • At least 6 months experience in one of the following tools within a strategic sourcing effort: Ariba, Emptoris, Oracle, SAP and/or Ketera.
      • At least 2 years experience in supplier relationship management including strategy, contract management, processes and tools.
      • At least 2 years experience in the design and implementation of Supply Chain policy, procedure, and/or governance models.
      • At least 2 years experience in procure to pay processes design or ops; strategic sourcing; e-RFX; supply chain intranet or extranet; contract mgmt systems; contract repositories; supplier relationship mgmt; or supplier scorecards.
      • At least 2 years experience in both indirect and direct enterprise categories.
      • Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
      • English: Basic knowledge

       

      Preferred

      • Master's Degree
      • At least 5 years experience in hands-on Strategic Sourcing process design, implementation, planning, and negotiation in several direct and/or indirect categories.
      • At least 2 years experience in one of the following tools within a strategic sourcing effort: Ariba, Emptoris, Oracle, SAP and/or Ketera.
      • At least 4 years experience in supplier relationship management including strategy, contract management, processes and tools.
      • At least 5 years experience in the design and implementation of Supply Chain policy, procedure, and/or governance models.
      • At least 4 years experience in management consulting for a consulting and/or professional services firm(s).
      • At least 5 years experience in procure to pay processes design or ops; strategic sourcing; e-RFX; supply chain intranet or extranet; contract mgmt systems; contract repositories; supplier relationship mgmt; or supplier scorecards.
      • At least 4 years experience in both indirect and direct enterprise categories.
      • At least 4 years experience in procurement outsourcing model design.
      • English : Intermediate
