      QA Software Developer

      As a member of our R&D development team, you will focus your software and system demolition expertiese and experience on designing, developing, performing and documenting complex automated test procedures for our RapidResponse™ product. You are at ease working in a dynamic environment where quick learning and your ability to undertake a variety of simultaneous tasks are crucial to your success. Your passion for quality and affinity for detail allow you to consistently deliver thorough results within a framework of tight deadlines and changing priorities.



      Key Functions:
      • Contribute to a variety of complex automation test activities throughout the feature development lifecycle such as:
      o Understanding and validating requirements by reviewing user stories and interviewing various stakeholders;
      o Writing and reviewing test strategy documents and;
      o Testing the software using manual and automation techniques to validate functionality against functional and nonfunctional requirements.
      • Identify the appropriate approach/framework and implement automated test suites.
      • Maintain automated test cases using frameworks like JUnit, NUnit, scripting, etc.
      • Review product specification and requirements as they pertain to creating automated test suites.



      • A post-secondary diploma/degree in computer science with at least 2 years of experience in a software development or test position.
      • Solid grasp on the Scrum development methodology.
      • The ability to ‘think outside the box’ is crucial in this fast paced environment.
      • Solid proficiency in programming techniques/languages (OO, Java, C# and scripting languages such as Groovy).
      • Solid proficiency in automated testing using a variety of techniques, including JUnit, NUnit.
      • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
      • Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities.
      • Self-starter with strong initiative and results orientation.

      • Understanding of data integration techniques.
