      JOB TITLE: Sales & Operations Planning Manager in Global Planning and Fulfillment

       

      JOB DUTIES: Drive a best-in-class Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process collaborating cross-functionally with Regional Sales, Business Entities, Marketing, Finance, Planning, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, and Customer Operations balancing operational excellence and innovations enablement leading to:
      • Revenue attainment & gross margin preservation
      • Fill rate & inventory optimization
      • Customer & market share retentions
      • Demand Shaping, Flexibility requirements
      • Enhanced teamwork and effective decision-making

       

      JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
      • Lead a weekly & monthly cadence of Operations Plan for select Business Entitiy(ies) working cross-functionally in a cross-functional setting orchestrating:
      o Revenue planning & attainment
      o Supply-demand balancing, constraints, allocations, and forward-looking projections
      o Inventory – fill rate and weeks of supply
      o Delivery performance – On-time to request / original commit / current commit; Lead time attainment
       Inventory-delivery trade offs
       Delivery performance for critical customer accounts & market segments
      o Cost / margin optimization
      o What-if / scenario planning and decision-making, e.g.
       Inventory-Delivery-Margin trade offs
       Demand sensing & shaping thru pricing / bundling initiatives
       Key customer impact & mitigation strategies
       Financial what-if calculator
      • Articulate global and regional impacts or the operating plan outcomes to executive management
      • Collaborate with Product Operations on cost, quality, lifecycle management inter-links to S&OP; partner for driving S&OP process with Business Unit(s)
      • Partner with Global Process Organization and IT leads for pilot creation, processes & tools development, rollout and scale of S&OP

       


      EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: BS degree - Business Administration or related supply chain management field

       

      EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 8-10 years of broad and deep supply chain experience – planning, inventory management, PLM, sourcing, P&L business aspects, modeling

       

      SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
      • Influencing and inter-personal skills for driving transformation in virtual team setting
      • Industry best practices knowledge & experience in:
      • Demand planning (i.e. sales statistical forecasting, revenue planning, collaborative planning with key customers, consensus demand planning)
      • Supply planning and scheduling (i.e., supply-demand balancing, critical component allocation, constrained revenue planning)
      • Lean demand pull, Flexibility; cost-delivery-inventory “what-if” trade-offs
      • Knowledge of Kinaxis, Quad, Demantra, IBM planning tools a plus
      • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) and ability to create and deliver executive friendly presentations on complex business and supply chain topics
      • Leadership – as this is a true leadership position without direct manager responsibilities, it is essential that the ideal candidate be comfortable with leading a virtual team in running the business, transformational activities and in coaching and career development of the virtual team.
